The maker
The Stewart's name traces back to 1924, when Ohio schoolteacher Frank Stewart began selling his own root beer from a roadside stand served in frosty mugs. The Fountain Classics line revives that soda-fountain heritage as a retail bottled range spanning root beer, cream soda, orange 'n cream, and more. The brand is now owned and distributed by beverage conglomerate Keurig Dr Pepper.
