Cream soda
Sprecher Cream Soda
Sprecher Brewing Co. · honey-vanilla cream soda
Glendale, Wisconsin, USA
A rich, dessert-like cream soda built on Sprecher's fire-brewed honey-and-vanilla formula, where the honey lends a faint bittersweet edge that keeps the heavy sweetness from going flat. The body is thick and genuinely creamy, with toasted-marshmallow and caramel notes that deepen over ice, and carbonation kept soft so the texture reads almost velvety. It is unapologetically sweet and not especially complex, but it executes the classic vanilla-cream profile about as well as the style allows.

The maker
Sprecher Brewing Company is a craft beverage maker based in Glendale, just outside Milwaukee, that built its reputation on a fire-brewing process in which the ingredients are slowly caramelized in a gas-fired kettle. Its sodas lean on real Wisconsin honey sourced from local beekeepers rather than relying on sweetener alone for character. The cream soda is one of the lineup's flagship offerings alongside its better-known root beer.
